They’re just l virtue signaling and playing martyrs and using fans’ love to continue squeezing every penny while they still can. Thanks to their dumbasses, these girls are on the recieving end of unnecessary drama and hate. Thankfully (?), there’s not much time left on their contracts; if the project were meant to last longer, I think this would have been a lot worse, maybe ending with their disbandement.
Sadly, this will only mean that the upper assholes will be more careful with their shady schemes instead of just not cheating and ruining kids’ lives.

CJ ENM are discussing the possibilty of extending the contract though althought with the latest news yesterday, it might not happen

Yeah...I don’t think it would be a good idea at all. It’s sad for the girls and their fans, but that move would be akin to spitting on the faces of the trainees after they “fixed it” with some petty hush cash.
Only if they are transparent with the payments, and only if they match what they would have made had they not been cheated out, then maybe it wouldn’t be as bad, but they won’t because it’s a shitton of money for companies and individuals, even if their greedy asses can pay it.
