Cover vs The Original song

Have you ever thought that a cover is better than the original song? So you mainly listen the cover (but it doesn't mean that the original is bad).

I have a few cases....but i think it happens when i listen the cover first and then the original.
My examples:


Feeling Good (first performed by Cy Grant ft. Bill LeSage in the musical The Roar Of The Greasepaint, The Smell Of The Crowd) it has several versions...but the MUSE's version v is superior for me.

I'm Still Standing (original by Elton John) but the cover by Taron Egerton is my favorite by a lot....and he has two versions because he then played as Elton John in a movie.

Bad Romance (original by Lady Gaga)....the rock cover by Halestorm is sooooo good!!
