StanI finished watching the first season of the remake of "Ranma 1/2" last December and I am now eagerly awaiting for the release of the second season, which I anticipate will be released sometime this year.
I watched all of the episodes while it was airing, and I have to sing some praises for the performances of the cast, especially for both those who had returned to reprise their original roles, but also those who were newly cast in the roles — in particular, Ayane Sakura who became the new VA for Kodachi and who, I will admit, became one of my favourite characters of the season.
Personally I found the remake to be relatively faithful, at least in terms of plot, and there were, of course, some changes which may not have appeared originally in the manga or the first anime series. But even then, I still found those directorial choices made to be entertaining.
So, did you watch the first season of the remake of Ranma 1/2 on Netflix?

I didn’t even know there was a remake but I’ll check it out. I remember reading Ranma 1/2 with my friends back in highschool but I never saw the anime.
