How would you feel if you've been in the same club/cult here for over a year, contributed a lot as a member and yet be treated like no one.
Yesterday was my birthday and while the birthday messages were always collected by the leader for all other active members when their birthdays came around, birthday messages for mine was skipped.
I'm an active member with lots of posts and I even pinned the cult thread for two months.
I feel very disappointed and unappreciated. I feel so dumb for staying for long when I kind of sensed that the trio of members didn't like me. When they were shading and hating on other users in the forum behind their back in the group discord chat that they were probably shading/hating on me behind my back on their own chats. I didn't get good vibes from them either but lightly brushed them off. I love/really like most of the members but bad apples ruined the experience.
I'll move on, but for new users thinking of joining clubs/cult in H+ and happen to read this thread, I would advise to identify members who are genuinely nice vs outwardly nice to take advantage of you. It would be best to stay away from that particular cult in general. I should have not ignored red flags (original members leaving, some iffy interactions, etc).
For those in the forum who are genuinely kind/sweet to me and/or like my presence here on the forum, thank you and I love you all.
Now that I said what I wanted to say, if there's any mess in the future, idc. I wouldn't mind taking a bit of break from H+. Thank you for reading.
