Since Teddy, the main producer for Blackpink, wrote Gashina I would assume it was for them. People also said it was similar to Solo by Jennie

Gashina came first though. I remember back in the day the argument was that Jennie was copying Sunmi, not that Sunmi was copying Jennie.

Sunmi also wrote Gashina along with the other producers.

Unless there’s more proof than “the vibes were similar”, due to the fact that it came earlier and Sunmi wrote her song I highly doubt it was meant for BlackPink.

They probably just saw the success Gashina had and decided to jump on the trend for Jennie.
