EBS Apology

"Apology We sincerely apologize to our viewers who always love EBS. EBS' popular program "Live! Tok!Tok! BoniHani" has recent YouTube live broadcasts that show violent scenes and verbal harassment in an unprecedented manner, causing severe discomfort

and hurt to viewers, including younger students, who are the main viewers. EBS takes the situation seriously and recognizes its responsibilities.

Immediately after the incident was brought to attention, EBS had an emergency response meeting and established a company-wide response and implementation plan.

First of all, we immediately suspended the two performers in question [note: choi youngsoo + park dongeun] and remove the YouTube videos with the relevant content. These incidences are a matter of an individual performers of responsibility and they are responsible for managing the EBS program.

EBS feels great responsibility with the shock that something like this could even happen.

In response to this incident, EBS will review the program selection process for all programs.

We will thoroughly inquire about the responsibilities of those involved in the program and strictly follow up issues with disciplinary action.

Above all, we will strictly inspect and improve the whole production process by thoroughly identifying the cause of the accident and maintain the [new] production system to prevent similar occurrences in the future. EBS will make the program more rigorous in the future. Again, I apologize to the viewers who believed in EBS.
