One day I would like to wake up and not discover another girl group has been a victim of the purge but today is sadly not that day.


Fans are currently concerned about the future of the girl group TRI.BE and are worried the group will be disbanding soon.

TRI.BE is a girl group that debuted in February 2021 and was produced by the late Shinsadong Tiger (who previously produced EXID).

The group's last comeback was in February of 2024 with their single Diamond. This was the last song produced by Shinsadong Tiger as well.

In July 2023 the group had their member Jinha leave the group after being on hiatus for a year.

It has been reported by fans that since their last comeback all of the foreign members (Kelly, Jia, and Mire) have returned to their home countries and there's no sign of them coming back.

The members have also all opened personal SNS accounts such as personal instagrams, tiktoks, and as I was typing this member Soeun has opened her own youtube channel to hopefully stream games.

Fans have been concerned about their bubble messages as well. For example, here is a translation of one of member HyunBin's bubble messages that has been worrying fans:

Fans are currently asking for the group's company to put out an official statement on the status of the group.


This is just a side comment I would like to say:

I never really followed Tri.be though I know LE/Elly of EXID, who worked with Shinsadong Tiger in producing the majority of EXID's work, was also working with Shinsadong on Tri.be even though she was never "officially" listed as a producer for the group.

After the news of Shinsadong's passing I was hoping the group would not just disband like this and low-key hoping that maybe Elly would step up and take over as producer since she frequently worked with him on EXID and with this group? And she is formally under their company with them, but I guess this was just a pipe dream

Member Songsun who is SNSD Yuri's cousin has been livstreaming almost daily as well and very lengthy ones.




I think it is quite possibly that a lot of things are legally tied up following Shinsadong Tiger's passing. Apparently there were debts outstanding and given his fairly young age it was unlikely he left a will. I wish the girls well.

As someone who followed more closely the group it's not surprising. Sadly, unfortunately, their CEO and boss Shinsadong put an end to the group. Elly doesn't seems to work with them or doesn't want to and there's no one to manage the group anymore.

Jia and Kelly went back to Taiwan, Mire back to Japan.
