- I’m so happy BBgirls made the list! They truly are pushing through with their comeback!
- I’m always shocked to see Katseye on here considering they are a global group and not a kpop group. They did promote on music shows though I guess?​

Gfriend remains banned from this list.

Many tried to claim it was because they were disbanded which they have shown is not true.​

Viviz has been unbanned from the list though. My best guess is maybe because they aren’t really promoting as a group right now that they aren’t charting? (Though that doesn’t explain brown eyed girls though)

If I can find the full list I can see if Gfriend really didn’t place at all. Maybe they just aren’t in the top 30? (NJZ seems banned though).

They are not there. And they performed on music shows and variety programs and in concert. Also trended many times on Twitter.

I don’t think so since Gidle’s name in Korean is “Girl Idol” and they don’t have any confusion?

I have maintained the direct involvement of both mhj and bsh in gfriend's disbandment since hybe itself leaked messages about mhj and she countered with messages confirming that both were behind taking all of source's profits and dividing them up to make le sserafim and njs. This was never denied by hybe. This is part of the reason why I dislike both mhj and bsh.
The banning of gfriend began as soon as they were disbanded by the company in 2021. They haven't appeared since. This was before njs ever existed. So no direct involvement there.
The fromis_9 situation is different in that their contracts actually ended at the time specified.

That is true, but girls Generation is a much less common term than girlfriend. Still not sure if that’s why though.Brown Eyed girls and Red Velvet are there.
