A group of students gather to work out the mysterious events of last night. None of them have any memories of what happened for the past 24 hours since the clock struck 11:11. They all awakened with a prickling sensation that something was horribly wrong, followed by a ring on their phone. An anonymous message that read

One of us is Dead

Roles​

Ghost: Each round will have 1 Ghost. Their objective is to discover the location of their murder before the round ends and avoid being caught by the living Students.
Students: Majority of the players will be living Students who don't know the identity of any other players but their own. Their objective is to vote out the Ghost during the round.

Game Mechanics​

• There will be 3 rounds. The roles will be randomized each round.
• A list of possible murder locations are available in the OP, however only the Students will know the murder location for the round, while the Ghost will not.
• Round lasts 20 minutes. A player will be randomized at the start of the round and they will be the first player to ask a question about the location to a player of choice.
• To ask or answers a question, a player must bold their post.
• The player that was asked will choose the next player to ask a question to, so on and so forth until round ends.
• The host will not interfere with the round unless a player takes over 5 minutes to answer a question, in which case that player will be automatically ACCUSED, or if there is an Accusation or an attempt by the Ghost at guessing the location.
• Players will be responsible for continuing the chain of questions and answers. You may NOT ask a player that has already answered a question during that round.
• If all the players are able to answer and ask a question before the round ends, they may use the remaining time to discuss freely.

Possible Outcomes​

1. Students Guess Ghost (Unanimously)
   • At any time during the round, a Student can guess the Ghost via PM. 3 guesses are allowed collectively per round.
   • Once this happens, the questioning and timer will be paused and all players will vote in the thread in agreement or disagreement. The accused player will not be allowed to vote and the vote must be unanimous in order to end the round. Otherwise, the round will continue as normal.
   • Initiator is anonymous and CANNOT reveal themselves in thread, otherwise they'll be penalized accordingly. Spy cannot initiate a spy vote.
   • Once a player has initiated the accusation once, they may not do it again for that round.
2. Ghost Guesses Location
   • To guess the location, post and bold Guess [location], in the thread. The round will immediately end after the Ghost guesses. If they guess incorrectly, the Students win.
3. Time runs out
   • If time runs out before the either side satisfies win conditions, there will be a 5-minute discussion phase in which the group can discuss and vote who they think the Ghost is in thread. Vote will be determined by majority.

The top 3 players with highest score by the end of 3 rounds win.

Point System​

Ghost Victory

• 2 points - No one successfully votes them out as Ghost
• 4 points - if the Ghost stops the game and successfully guesses the location

Students Victory

• 1 point - If the Ghost is successfully voted out
• 2 points - The player who initiated the successful voting of the Ghost earns 2 points instead

Round Time-out

• 2 points for all Students that vote for the exorcist in majority, 1 point for all other Students

Tiebreaking:
1. The player that won more times as Ghost;
2. The player that outed more Ghosts as student;
3. The player that voted right the most times.

Rules​

• Do not ask yes or no questions.
• Only the person that was asked is allowed to answer a question.
• Refrain from asking/answering location-related questions to players when it isn’t your turn to ask/answer.
• Do not ask follow-up questions or 2-in-1 questions.
• You cannot ask the person who just asked you a question unless there is no other option available.
• If you fail to ask your question within the time limit, the questioning rights will be forfeited to the next player on the player list.
• Try to avoid asking questions that are too specific or giving answers that are too explicit, the goal is to subtly prove your identity to other Students while not giving away the location to the Ghost.

2nd Place: 4 orbs, 30 Elite Gamer Points + 800 Pokecoins, 4 Pokeballs
3rd Place: 3 orbs, 20 Elite Gamer Points + 700 Pokecoins, 4 Pokeballs
Participation: 1 orb, 7 Elite Gamer Points + 500 Pokecoins, 2 Pokeballs

basically every round everyone will know the location except one person who will be an impostor and will pretend they know. one person will ask a question to a player at a time, they have to try and confirm they know the word without giving it away, cause if the impostor guesses the location right they win. if the players guess the impostor before the impostor can guess the word, they win.
