ARAMA Japan held an interview with former 7 MEN Samurai member Koki Maeda discussing various topics relating to Johnny's entertainment. The most notable moment of the interview came when they asked him about Johnny's sexual abuse allegations. Maeda explained that there were Johnny's Jr members who hoped to sleep with Kitagawa so that they could debut, and that he had slept with some of the Jrs.




Johnny Kitagawa sexually abusing his artists has long been an open secret in the entertainment industry. In the 80s and 90s multiple former trainees shared their stories of sexual abuse but mainstream media has not dared touch the subject for fear of getting blacklisted by Johnny's & Associates. Even now it is incredibly rare to see Johnny's talent mention the issue. Kitagawa died in 2019.
