EVENT+ Hallyu+'s Game Night

Welcome to Game Night (or morning, or afternoon!), where we will be playing a few of the Jackbox games from party pack 3! We will be playing 3 games, 2 times each per session. All you need is internet and a web browser! Use your laptop/desktop or your phone! I will be hosting over our official Twitch!!

Here are the three games and the rules.

Spoiler: Trivia Murder Party

Trivia Murder Party (TMP) starts off with up to 8 players, all living and ready to die. First, they have to answer a question. While in most games all of the questions are complicated trivia, on occasion there have been memory puzzles with 4 answers to a question regarding a photo. If you get a question wrong, you are sent to the killing floor, and must fight for your life in a randomly selected minigame. If you lose the minigame, you die. However, ghosts are still able to win the game through the final round.
For the most part, getting questions correctly gets you off scot-free. However, if all living players get two questions right in a row (3 in a row for 1-3 player games), they all go to the Killing Floor so the host can "teach you a lesson".
After playing a minigame on the Killing Floor to decide who will survive, all players (even ghosts) will answer another question. This goes on until one of the following criteria has been met:

• There is one player left alive.
  • If this happens by the end of question 3, this player must survive 2 or more questions before the final round begins. All Killing Floors at this point will be treated as single-player Killing Floors. If the player dies, the game ends immediately without a winner.
  • If this happens on question 4 or later, the final round begins.
• Everyone is dead (all living players are killed at once).
  • If this happens by the end of question 3, the game ends immediately without a winner.
  • If this happens on question 4 or later, the host will revive the player with the most money for the final round. If 2 or more players are tied for the most money, the player that joined the game first will be revived.
• 9 questions have been answered and more than 1 player is still alive. If this happens all living players compete in the Loser Wheel killing floor. During Question 10, the host will comment on how the game has lasted too long and the game will transition to the Loser Wheel.

In a single-player game, the player must survive 7 questions in order to reach the final round.

Quiplash is the gut-busting battle of wits and wittiness! Just use your phone or tablet (no controllers needed) to answer simple prompts like these:

• Something you’d be surprised to see a donkey do
• A double rainbow doesn’t have gold at the end of it. Instead, it has ______.
• A better name for France

There are no rules or correct answers. You just say whatever you want! Your answer will be pitted against another player’s answer in a head-to-head battle. Other players – and even an audience of up to 10,000 people – then vote on their favorite answer. It’s that simple.

And yes, you read that right: while the game is for 3-8 players, it supports up to 10,000 active participants in the Audience, all of whom have the ability to affect the vote! More than 8 people at your party? Nobody has to sit out. Playing on a stream? Your viewers can join in and participate in the game.

You’ll know you’re playing Quiplash when you type something like “unicorn farts” on your phone, and it carries you to victory!

Tee K.O. is a drawing game, with the main goal being to make the funniest t-shirts using designs and slogans that were drawn and written by the other players.

To begin the first round, each player is asked to draw three t-shirt designs on their device. Unlike most other Jackbox drawing games, there's no exact drawing prompt given (unless the "Suggestion" button is pressed), so players are free to draw anything they wish. After three designs are drawn by everyone playing, the players are then asked to write out t-shirt slogans. Once every player has written at least four slogans, the drawings and slogans are randomly sent out to the other players. Each player has to try and combine the drawings and slogans they were given to create the funniest t-shirt they can.

After all t-shirt are made, each shirt is put up against each other in a gauntlet-style match. Every player must then vote for whichever shirt they like the most. Unlike most Jackbox games, players are able to vote for themselves. Whichever t-shirt gets the most votes wins that round, and moves on to battle against the next shirt. This continues until a winner is decided. There are two winners per round, one for winning the gauntlet and one for having the longest win streak. However, if the gauntlet winner also had the longest win streak, there will be only one winner for that round.

The second round is basically the same as the first, though the players only need to draw one design and write at least two slogans. Unused designs and slogans from the first round will also be recycled and redistributed. The same style gauntlet match repeats with the new shirts, picking two more winners.

The final gauntlet puts the winning t-shirts from the previous rounds against each other to decide who the final winner is. Unlike the previous two rounds, there isn't a win streak winner, and only one t-shirt will remain victorious after this round.

Rules:

• These games are pretty adult in nature just because it is essentially free in terms of submission, so please be ready for that.
• But that does NOT mean you can write or draw ANYTHING. Anyone that breaks Hallyu+'s rules will NOT receive any rewards.
• Each game will be considered easy so those points will count for the rankings
• In TMP, those with the second and third amount of money will get the ranking, while in Tee K.O. those that last toward the end will get second and third
• All participants will receive Plus Coins, and those who do not rank in the top 3 will get 5 participation points.
• It's best to stay the whole time until your game comes on, but it is not necessary. Please try to be there when you can. Trivia Murder Party and Quiplash games generally last 30 minutes each, while Tee K.O. is a bit shorter. Once your game is ready, you will be sent a PM along with the other players with the room code that you must input into the website.
