There's so many truly perfect moments in this book along with some absolute anime betrayals. Wew its good I couldn't stop listening :TzuyuKek: . Almost every moment in the book feels so real because we've seen most of these moments or an amalgamation of them almost every day as kpop fans. The idol life and what's actually behind it as told by one of the most successful stars who was actually there.

The story of Rachel and her journey to debut is so interesting because it's something all of us have watched from the fan perspective. But haven't you wondered what it's actually like to go through that life? Queen Jessica has delivered all of the secrets of the kpop world to you on a silver platter. Want to know about bg vs gg privilege? Check. How about behind the scenes gg drama? Rich families controlling who debuts and what happens? Scandalous bg and gg member romances? Check., Check, and Check.

The whole industry and every thing we love and hate about it and the kpop trainees journey is all here. Some of it nearly made me cry seeing how cruel things could be. Of course there are equally amazing moments too, it is kpop after all. Tbh it's so real feeling even though the events are definitely different. Not real in the sense that this happened to Jessica and SNSD , not like that. But just in general... what people think and how things look from the perspective of a 17 year old Koreanamerican trainee. It felt very ioi like to me in the sense of being able to see the insides of everything. Because this story is about trainees and getting to debut. A story that every idol can relate to and by extension every fan. Really as kpop fans I really recommend you read it!
