Hirose Alice rumored to have broken up with basketball player Tanaka Daiki

It's been reported that actress Hirose Alice (26) has broken up with professional basketball player Tanaka Daiki (29).

According to reports, Hirose and Tanaka started dating in 2016, and were considering getting married at one point. Last summer, there were reports that the two had broken up. After the Tokyo Olympics had been postponed, Tanaka wanted to focus on competing, while Hirose had some time to spare due to COVID-19. This apparently created a gap between the two. However, someone close to the couple denied the report saying that while they had not been seeing each other as often, their relationship was going well.

This time, it appears that Hirose broke it off as she started to get busy with work. Currently, she stars in Fuji TV's drama 'Shitteru Wife,' which has increasing viewership every week. She is also scheduled to serve as the MC for Fuji TV's 'R-1 Grand Prix' to air on March 7. It appears that the actress is receiving offers for other gigs as well.

Recently, Hirose appeared on Fuji TV's 'TOKIO Kakeru' where she commented on her desire to get married, "I have none at all. I can't live with other people. I am happiest when I am by myself drinking 'oyuwari' (shochu mixed with hot water) and watching a movie."

Hirose's agency neither confirmed nor denied the report saying, "We leave private matters up to her."
