Talking about recruiting vietnamese trainees for future 4th gen groups. Still crossing my fingers for Hanbin from I-Land that he will get to debut. He' still with Belift, but it's a 50/50 chance. Outside of him, I hope we get a surprise this year or 2022.
I understand why companies hasn't debuted anyone from Vietnam, but I think they should try and see how the reception can be. They should see Dita from Secret Number as a good example of how united indonesian Kpop fans came to her and the group's support. This can very well happen to a vietnamese idol in Kpop group as well.

bighit/source held auditions in Vietnam so there's a chance there might be one in the lineup for the gg this year if not a few in Iland s2. I'm honestly surprised that Hanbin wasn't adding to the bighit japan bg since they included Taiwanese and Korean members in the lineup, so hopefully that means belift has plans for him. Honestly it'll make sense to see more SEA idols in the future just because there's generally less political controversy around them than Chinese or Japanese idols.
