idk much about jpop but MYH's level of popularity seems like it was almost a cultural phenomena so I imagine they'd still win, but E-girls would have deserved it more as it's probably one of the most engaging dance performances I've seen in my all my years of idol fandom-

NiziU had a viral dance sensation this year, and the entire Exile brand is past its prime. Popularity plays a significant role in these things, for better or for worse, so NiziU would have won regardless of whether or not there were better dances competing.
