Yesterday JA Namie held their second event in Namie town hall. Namie is a city in Fukushima prefecture that was abandoned after the 2011 Great Tohoku Earthquake, tsunami and fallout from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant. As of last year the Japanese government revealed that radiation levels have fallen low enough to make it safe, but few citizens have returned. JA Namie was created in order to revive the city, holding an event every month with the proceeds going to rebuilding efforts. The group is made out of members of Amefurasshi and B.O.L.T as well as Sasaki Ayaka of Momoiro Clover Z, and the group's colour is based on Namie's official flower, cosmos.
