Mochi like most rice cakes is about more subtle taste and texture IMO. I like the green tea one.

It's the texture that people tend to like, not the taste (although I happen to love red bean). I like the squish. Every time I get frozen yogurt I get the little plain mochi balls on top

I think the dull flavour is a part of its charm

Strawberry ones are nice, the flavour is subtle but I like them.
