In a report released on the 11th, EBEST Investment & Securities predicted that JYP Entertainment will maintain its high growth among the Big 3 Companies. The agency’s target share price remained the same, at ₩30,000.

EBEST analyst Kim Hyun Yong shared, “JYP Entertainment’s current third and fourth quarter sales increased 29.2% compared to the same time last year at ₩43.8 billion and the operating profit increased 34.1% to ₩11.4 billion.

“Girl group TWICE is making a comeback with the release of their 8th mini album ‘Feel Special’ on September 23rd. On October 23rd, they will begin the Japan leg of their world tour at Sapporo. Assuming that JYP Entertainment will release a special album in either Korea or Japan before the end of the year, annual sales are expected to reach 2.3 million.

“The number of concert attendees will be 415,000 this year, which is a 130% increase from last year’s 180,000.

“Stray Kids is looking to make a comeback in the fourth quarter of the year and will try to create opportunities to expand in the United States. Girl group ITZY is also planning to make a comeback in the fourth quarter, and a year-end tour seems to likely for them.”

Analyst Kim also advises people to focus on the upcoming NIZI Project, which is an audition program that will be shown to the public in October. He said that “they are planning to air the ‘NIZI Project,’ an audition program that spans Japan and the US, in October. The company will train 20 selected trainees for six months before the twenty trainees will compete in a survival-style program to become a part of the final debut group in April 2020.”

As much as I'm pretty much done with survival programs (say hello, Produce), I'm looking forward to NIZI project. We'll find out if JYP's JP trainees are going to be in the mix, or remain in SK for JYPNGG 202X.

I think Mako, Rima and Miihi will not participate in Nizi project because the premise of the Nizi project is to follow the development of the candidates. That would not be the case with these three

At the end of the day, Nizi is about creating a JP GG with Kpop / JYPE standards. While the show/story is certainly part of the story, the end result still needs strong candidates if the group is to survive after the show. I still believe the three will remain in JYP for NGGG202X, but it's also possible that some of them could choose to quit JYPE to compete in NIZI - it will allow them to debut faster if they make the cut. Don't know how true it is, but story was that Somi threatened to leave JYPE if they didn't let her compete in Produce.

Also, I wonder if JP ex-trainees from JYPE (or other kpop agencies) might apply for Nizi. In that case, they would certainly be at an advantage to the rest. But we'll know by Oct (I think) who have passed the selection process.

good for JYP Nation!! let's keep up. and give us JYP Nation concert already

With TWICE, ITZY, and Stray Kids coming back soon, I wonder what the plans are for GOT7 and DAY6.
Day6 are busy for their world tour and GOT7 probably will have another comeback before year end.
