amazing how they convinced half of Japan's female population to join the group!
jokes aside, they are one of the largest groups around, 18 members
are there any other groups with that many people in a single unit? the only other i can think of is "Maid in!" but they are just 17

Probably some Aki-P groups. The 48-groups have teams of about 15-16 in each but afaik the 46-groups don't have teams and they have 20+ members. His band The Coinlockers had 41 members, I don't think they were in units?

i heard of Kakakabububukikiki!!! because their producer is Naoki Kubo (SILENT SIREN's producer) and SILENT SIREN's Suu wrote their debut single
they are also active in the Kabuki theater scene, so i guess that's how they justify being such a large group
special mention to GANG PARADE, they almost doubled their membership in less than a year, right now they are standing at 13 members, Watanabe doesn't has plans for his actual trainee group "WAgg" and instead when a new girl joins they are thrown into GP
