Kana-Boon's Meshida Yuuma suspends activities due to mental illness

Four member rock band Kana-Boon announced through their website that bassist Meshida (Iida) Yuuma would be taking a pause from group activities due to mental health concerns. Meshida had realised that he was suffering from mental illness and will focus on treating his mental health issues. Meshida and Kana-Boon will discuss possibly re-joining the group once he has recovered both mentally and physically. Until then, Kana-Boon will be active as a three member group, with a support bassist filling in during live performances.
