Male singer Kang Daniel proved his popularity with more than 17,000 fan-meeting tickets sold in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and Taiwan.
The singer's fan meetings are coming close and will start on August 16 in Singapore, August 18 in Hong Kong, September 7 and 13 in Bangkok and Taipei, respectively. With the participation of over 4000 fans in Singapore and Hong Kong, 5600 fans in Bangkok and 3000 fans in Taipei, Kang Daniel's fan meeting in the 4 countries will be the meeting of more than 17,000 fans.
Notably, at 10 am (Thailand time) August 10, after the sale had been open, the tickets for "Kang Daniel Fanmeeting 'COLOR ON ME': BANGKOK" were sold out with 5,600 seats, proving his immense popularity. The number of visits to the ticketing site rocketed to 50,000, which not only temporarily crippled this site but also pushed the keywords related to Kang Daniel's fan meeting to No.1 on real-time trend list of the Thai SNS for 5 hours. Besides, a major number of fans have also sent requests for additional seats, and so as to repay this, the scale of the Bangkok show was raised up to 8,000 seats.
This fan meeting of Kang Daniel is expected to be a meeting to interact with worldwide fans and at the same time, together with fans finding Kang Daniel's own color after his solo debut.
Kang Daniel's management company, Konnect Entertainment, said, "We would like to thank the fans for giving strong encouragement. Kang Daniel is doing his best to prepare for the event in order to repay for the affection of the fans who are looking forward to Kang Daniel's stage after the long absence."
So as to celebrate the release of the solo album "color on me", Kang Daniel is preparing to meet fans around the world through the overseas fan meeting tour. Currently, the male singer is pouring all his effort and attention into practicing for the event.
