As the global pandemic continues to levy hardship on people from all walks of life, the talent of Johnny & Associates have come together to offer a special message of gratitude to all the frontline workers who risk and sacrifice daily so that we can carry on some semblance of normalcy.
From Kimura Takuya to KAT-TUN, Kinki Kids to King & Prince and more, the boys and men of Johnny's recorded personal messages of thanks; published as a compilation to the Johnny's official YouTube channel. Individual photos have been uploaded as well to the J&A Smile Up! official Instagram account.
The effort is a part of the ongoing Smile Up! project, a revival of Johnny's previous charity "Marching J" organized on behalf of relief efforts for the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. It has donated money and supplies to Covid-related organizations since April of 2020, as well as leveraged talent influence to educate and inform about Coronavirus safety.
