Kpop vs Western Pop music?

Western pop for me. Theres a lot more out there and a lot of different sub genres that are still considered "pop" (kpop has a good amount of variety too though)

Generally I prefer Kpop over western pop, but I listen to music from anywhere so long as it's good.

Im bored with most of what’s topping American charts these days, but americas music industry is so huge I have another option. So I put it on the same level as kpop for me

Gotta go with western pop, but I don't really listen to people who usually chart top 100 on billboard. I feel like western pop has a lot more variety and can be more experimental while also sounding cohesive, which I personally think kpop kind of struggles to do. (The sounding cohesive part I mean, kpop can be pretty experimental.)

Western Pop is too generic and basic, especially with Ariana and Taylor. So K-Pop >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all the American industry.

though i have taylor swift, katy perry , lana, ariana, a pixie lott song and a sam smith song on my playlist.
