RUMOR Leonardo DiCaprio to be in Squid Games Season 3

News articles came out today saying Leonardo DiCaprio will be in season 3 of Squid Games, making a minor guest appearance.

DiCaprio has said in the past that he’s a big fan of Squid Games and when the producers (?) were asked about it on a red carpet they “joked” that maybe they should send him a proposal.

Additionally, the leading actor of Squid Games said in another red carpet interview that the American actor he most would want to appear in Squid Games is DiCaprio.

Squid Games season 3 has finished filming already and is expected to air Summer 2025.

When Netflix was asked about DiCaprio’s appearance in the show, they said they heard/know nothing about and it’s not true, which is why I’m labeling this post as a rumor.

Fans are guessing that DiCaprio might make a guest appearance and play one of the game’s rich investors.

Not quite an update, the onsen article did include the fact that Netflix denied it (hence why I labeled this as a rumor), the English news outlets just magically decided to leave this out

I wasn’t sure if osen maybe had another source where they got this from or if they’re just pulling this out of their ass.

It’s sort of a season 3 but not really?

I haven’t watched it, but of what I understand from people who did the season 2 was split into 2 arcs and instead of doing season 2 part 1 and season 2 part 2, they are just calling season 2 part 2 season 3.

Season 3 is just a continuation of season 2.
