Box Office Mojo reported on Saturday that My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes' Mission, the third anime film in the My Hero Academia franchise, debuted at #2 in the United States on its opening day on Friday. The film earned an estimated US$2,882,381 on Friday in 1,602 theaters, with a per-theater average of about US$1,799.
In comparison, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising earned US$2,526,900 on its first day in February 2020 (the film opened in the U.S. on a Wednesday), topping the box office.
Funimation is releasing a 76-page My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission Vol. W Specialty Manga Booklet featuring a specialty manga to theatergoers from October 29-31 in the U.S.
My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes' Mission began screening in over 1,500 theaters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland on October 29, and in Australia and New Zealand on October 28. The film will also screen in Latin America in Spanish and Portuguese.
The film opened on August 6 in Japan, and has earned a cumulative total of 3,183,773,400 yen (about US$28.68 million) as of September 26. The film is the highest-earning among all three My Hero Academia franchise anime films, surpassing the 1.79 billion yen (about US$16.2 million by current conversion) of the second film, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising.

I saw this on Friday, very entertaining if you like this series. Doesn't add anything plot-wise but thats fine.
