Y’all know what time it is

This time, Ador’s new CEO is being requested to be reviewed by the National Assembly. She is currently being accused of committing Perjury during her audit session on the 18th of October.

Here is a statement from the person requesting her audit:
The document was addressed to Kim Joo-young, who at the time was the Chief Human Resources Officer. Despite being aware of the document’s existence, Kim neglected her duty and falsely testified during the audit by emphasizing efforts for 'respectful behavior guidelines' and 'preventing human rights violations,' which constitutes perjury."

This request is being sent along with Tokki’s request for Hybe to no longer be considered a top entertainment company.

Here is a tweet with part of an English translation.

Tokki’s request for Hybe to no longer be considered a top entertainment company.
Actually no.
Quote from this article:
"For the unversed, HYBE earned the 'Top Company' status in April 2024 from the Fair Trade Commission."

This petition request required signers to be Korean citizens. It is possible all 50k were Korean Tokkis but hard to say. "Top Company" status has granted Hybe Corporation immunity from tax audits. It has nothing to do with it being an entertainment company whatsoever.

Ok, thank you for the clarification!

Maybe I’m thinking of another petition, but the big English speaking tokki accounts were saying they were submitting a petition to get Hybe’s top company status removed but they said it was because they wanted Hybe out of the “Big 4”. They never said (or I guess elaborated) that it was to take away any immunities they had.

I’m guessing there was probably a translation gap somewhere? (or maybe someone changed it to get it to be more “eye catching”)

Thank you for explaining this :sanapray:
