On July 2 Red Velvet's Wendy had a karaoke live on Puff with three Reveluvs: Dahee (ex idol school now youtuber), Ddoa (an other youtuber) and finally Jin Hyunbin who said she was a trainee but didn't not said in which agency but why would SM promote an other agency trainee?

SM already promoted a trainee without confirming that she was one when Taemin's WANT was released featuring in the mv and during the promo Yoo Jimin who was later confirmed to be a trainee by her friends and family.

the last vid was inaudible but the one where she sang bad boy....i don't think she has an SM voice? not that sure tho

If it weren't for the fan reports of sighting her near SM I wouldn't buy this.
SM has been real weird about their female trainees. After promoting them a lot even having that Disney Channel show to radio silence. This is a real weird way of promoting a trainee. Doesn't sound like typical SM stuff. I wonder what is going on internally with regards to their next girl group.
I still think there is a chance she isn't a trainee with SM, but because of the sightings I think it's more likely she is. Just sounds so weird they would put her in this without acknowledging she is an SM trainee. Maybe she is a new addition that didn't train in the Rookies system and they are seeing if she can get some hype by herself without the SM brand as a trial to see if she would be a good gg member, or even a soloist? SM is just way too puzzling when it comes to their next gg.
