The new Johnny's groups have the public interest and good public recognition. The old groups still have huge public recognition. And people said that Johnnys groups were over after Arashi's hiatus

I don't understand how people thought Johnny's was done for after Arashi's hiatus. Even as someone who's an outsider when it comes to the J-pop industry, I can see that it's pretty clear that the company has nailed the formula of producing popular boy groups. I for one have been quite a fan of releases from SixTones and King & Prince.

Yup. It's not about their music anymore. Johnny's are all well known for their personalities too. They are always on TV so the general public knows them. The agency is pushing the Johnnys Jrs too. They are part of the agency but they have not debuted yet, just look at HiHi Jets for example, they have more public recognition and public interest than other groups and they have not debuted yet.I don't understand how people thought Johnny's was done for after Arashi's hiatus. If HiHi Jets finally debut next year, I'm sure that they will be really popular.

V6 surprises me because I know almost nothing about them except that they're an old group. They don't seem to fit with Arashi, SMAP or TOKIO. But maybe like TOKIO they have low sales but are famous from tv.
Speaking of TOKIO I'm surprised that their interest value is still so high after their Yamaguchi's scandals.

V6 members always have been popular with the general public because of their TV appareances, clean image and no scandals, their disbanding announcement shocked everyone. For Johnny's groups not everything are sales and I'm happy for that tbh.
TOKIO is still on top because they are really popular with the general public too, their tv show "Tokio Kakeru" had really good ratings. They are still on top after Nagase Tomoya leaved the group.
Johnny's groups are still popular with the general public despite the lost of members, just look at KAT-TUN, Kanjani or NEWS, the members of these groups are still well known between the general public.
