NJZ had an interview with BBC News today.

Here is the article link

Here is the video interview:

The interview is being received very negatively, if you read the video comments Knetz are really going after them.

There’s one specific part where Hanni says they don’t want to name drop other groups cause it will negatively affect them that both Knetz and international Kpop fans are particularly angry about. Most people feel like it’s hypocritical for them to say this one year into this drama when the damage has already been done to other groups, and after Hanni just said in the trial that three illit members mocked her in the hallway.

I also have a side question for you all;

Are y’all ok with the fact that I still call them NJZ? I know Hybe wants people to use New Jeans, and other websites and stuff still use New Jeans, but I just thought NJZ was easier to use.

I was personally was going to keep using NJZ until the April trial and if NJZ looses the trial I was going to go back to New Jeans/NJS cause by that point NJZ really can’t be used anymore.

"NJZ" is fine with me. I think the "NJZ" vs "NewJeans" usage is one of the least bizarre aspects of this whole drama anyway.

I feel like there’s a grey area cause bbc news is a foreign news outlet and Ador can only control what they do in Korea.

I don’t know if the fact that they met/filmed with the Korea branch of the news outlet changes things though?

The interview also said they reached out to Ador for comments so Ador must have known about this interview beforehand.

Unrelated:
As you all know, Team Bunnies does lawsuits to get things removed and such.

They cover YouTube comments, Instagram, twitter, etc.

They recently expanded their scope to start going after Reddit as well.

If Team Bunnies is suing forums now are we going to get sued next? :run:

Considering that ador/hybe was the one who revealed illit name in the matter I understand her point. She avoided pointing a specific finger. It was the company that brought illit into the conversation multiple times. The onus is upon them.

Stay NJZ because as kimgu says it is getting to be a boring story. Endless rehashing is becoming very monotonous

I think the forum is fine as long as no one personally engages in slander or libelous behavior.

Ador/Hybe were not the only ones name-dropping illit though. MHJ did multiple times (along with LSF) and NJZ did start name dropping both groups at some point as well.

People are seeing all parties as guilty since all parties participated in the name dropping.

*edit*
I want to add in:

I think what people are most annoyed at NJZ for is the fact that out of anyone they would have had the power to ask their fans not to attack other groups and never did.

They could have asked everyone/their fans to leave other groups alone but didn’t. And on top of this, they met up with and gave gifts to a fan who was running a hate campaign against illit, and are now working with Team Bunnies who have been known to post laughing replies to tweets about illit and LSF news.

Saying you don’t want to drag others into things but then turning around and supporting people who send hate towards said people are not a good look.

You know, ever since this whole thing started, it's just really reminded me of tiger King.

which if you've seen it, I think you'll get what I mean.

But basically the point being that Joe exotic, the tiger king and this other guy that also owned tigers and did Cub petting were both shit people that were abusing and exploiting these animals.

But ultimately one shit person in this case Joe exotic, the tiger king at least gave information to the police about another shit person (the other guy) so that that place got shut down.

in this analogy, MHJ is the tiger king and the other guy is hybe/bangpd and new jeans and all the idols that got brought into this and idols in general are the tigers.

They were being exploited and used but seeing how they're working with her, clearly it makes me question that.

I would still argue my point that new jeans and their parents were groomed by mhj who is a narcissistic con woman who took of advantage of the situation hybe put them in where they didn't know if they were going to debut and were living in substandard conditions.

But the longer this goes the less likely it is that they'll leave her. And in the meantime more girl groups will debut to replace them.

If some kind of actual law to protect idols comes out this I'll be happy but I just don't the well being is the top priority right now for the government.

As a Gfriend fan I have put up with 6 years of attacks and I still don't hate a group or fandom involved or expected any group to be involved .

It looks like a battle they can't win regardless, they try to defend themselves, to express their side of the story, but this will result in backlashes, misinterpretations or mistakes.

The general opinion was the only remaining option for them to win since on the court side their situation seems lost. But even here it's getting difficult.
To have fans and people to be on ADOR/HYBE side, you really had to messed up or fumble.

Thankfully they still have fandom and other people to support them, they probably won't reach their 2022-2023 peak but it will be enough to survive and to continue to release songs if they can. And they can promote overseas, Japan, China, USA, etc.

Idols being mistreated or not having enough protections, not enough rights, is another topic
