What is MMA?

Mixed martial arts is a full-contact combat sport that allows striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from various combat sports and martial arts. The ignorant may say that MMA is just 2 people in a cage beating each other up for the sake of entertainment but being a Mixed Martial artist is more than just inflicting pain upon others. It's a way of life as the biggest opponent is the one staring at you in the mirror. Let us know what style/s of martial arts you practice here and tell us your favorite MMA fighter or martial arts inspiration.

Sad that SexyYama didn't get off to a winning start in his debut in ONE FC. But he still put up a good fight after such a long hiatus away from the sport. He will bounce back.

Yeah Sexy Yama put on a great fight despite being over 40 yrs old and fighting a 23 yr old. Hopefully he won't retire just yet.

Expecting Zhang to win would be a tall order esp against a monster like Andrade who KO'ed thug Rose with a slam but the prospect of having a famale UFC Champ from East Asia is pretty awesome.
