On February 1, actor Oguri Shun went live on his wife Yamada Yu's Instagram account.

Oguri, who doesn't own any social media accounts, used Yamada's Instagram account to watch his brother and Bujinga artist Kojo Masayuki's collaboration live. After watching them, Oguri became interested and decided to participate himself by going live with Kojo.

Since he was using his wife's account, which has over 1.3 million followers, Oguri seemed concerned about the number of viewers. He joked, "People are going to think that Yamada Yu is doing an Instagram live, but it's two old men talking. We've reached 10,000 viewers."

Afterward, Oguri went live with his brother which seemed to be very relaxed and private. However, Oguri declared, "I'm doing this borrowing Yu's account, but I'm not planning on doing anything for the next year and five months. This is my last Instagram live."

The live ended, but after watching Obata no Onisan, who is known for impersonating Oguri, on Instagram live, he went live with his brother again.

News that Oguri had taken over Yamada's account to go live spread quickly. Netizens were surprised yet overjoyed to see the actor on social media saying, "I thought Yu-chan had gone live, but was surprised to see Oguri Shun," "It's incredible that he's using his wife's account," and "It's so unexpected and surprising to see the husband."
