After being a national Producer for 4 years, here are the people who were the biggest victims of the Produce series' devil's editing in my opinion.
Produce 101 Season 1 - Heo Chanmi
There was a scene of her glaring at Yoo Yeonjung (rank B) who received vocal training. She was then broadcasted as her rival. Actually, when Yeonjung was singing, you could read on Chanmi's lips saying "her voice is so pretty..."
During Into The New World, when she mentioned that Yeonjung was good at singing, it was also the same episode where she apologized for her voice cracking. Because of her vocal cord nodules, they wanted to change the main vocal to another trainee but the kids said they'd rather she stay the main vocal. In the end, she sang out of tune, and they replayed that scene multiple times.
They when she had to monitor her own team's performance, she had a serious look but they used the cut to make it seem like she was glaring other kids.
Even so, during the position evaluation, she showed that she was a stable main vocal.
In the end, they just cut down her screen time. Even when she was the main vocal, she barely appeared on screen. Finally, she couldn't make it to the live broadcast.
Her best rank: 7
-> She ended up being top 26 and was eliminated. She went on Mix Nine and got evilly edited again,
She's seriously the biggest victim in history...
Produce 101 Season 2 - Kang Dongho
During his first evaluation, they sang After School's 'Because of You', his voice was unstable when he sang the high note and they replayed that part 3 times. After that, when they released the full audition, everyone was saying how you could barely tell that he made a mistake. He was edited as if his skills were bad.
During the position evaluation, him and Jung Sewoon couldn't agree on how to arrange the music. Kang Dongho then got into a controversy for being too pushy with his own opinion.
Even so, they ended up making a compromise and performed a cool stage. When Kang Dongho was the main coal in 'Open Up', his high notes were also stable.
His best rank: 8
-> He ended up being top 13. After getting eliminated, he went back to promoting with Nu'est W and gathered even more popularity.
Produce 48 - Jang Gyuri
During the group evaluation, she was the main vocal for Peekaboo. She rest her vocal cords a day before the performance so her voice wouldn't come out properly. So her voice cracked when she sang her high note. But they kept magnifying her mistake. After that, she got eliminated at the 3rd elimination and wasn't able to go on the live broadcast.
I think that she got traumatized by the devil's editing so during the position evaluation, even though her team members kept on pushing her to be the main vocal, she kept on declining it even though she ended up doing it. When she said that she felt a lot of pressure because she wanted to do well and went to see the trainers and told them about her concerns, you could see her tears. In the end, they even said that they might replace her as the main vocal. In the end they still performed a good stage and she improved her image.
Her best rank: 6
-> She was eliminated at top 25. After that, she debuted with Fromis9 and started rising again
Produce X 101 - Ham Wonjin
During Produce, they kept showing him cry. Because of that he even earned the name of Cry-Wonjin.
During Finesse, Kim Sihoon was the leader for the choreography and they edited him evilly when there was some discord between them. Even though Ham Wonjin, Song Hyungjoon and Kim Sihoon made the choreography, Ham Wonjin and Song Hyungjoon's choreographies ended up not being added. And they edited Ham Wonjin's reaction evilly.
For example, there was one instance where Ji Changwook couldn't follow the choreography and everyone was laughing but they edited as if Ham Wonjin was the only one who couldn't keep up. There was even one scene where the caption showed "Ham Wonjin trainee who left the scene" (I think that he got traumatized by the event so you could see him saying "if you want to go to the washroom, you need to say it first" during Pretty Pretty).
In the end, he was the one going to Sihoon first to apologize.
Moreover, in ep. 10, his vocal cords' condition was bad so he gave the main vocal position to Kang Minhee. But they later showed him fighting for another part so he's been evilly edited 2x in a row.
By the way, Ham Wonjin and Kang Minhee are from the same agency and when his name was called out in the last episode, you could see Ham Wonjin tearing up and congratulating him.
In his V-live, he said that his image is different from Cry-Woojin and he showed a side that was more of his age and he was bright, smiling and joking around.
Again, in the live broadcast, they showed him singing just fine and dancing well too.

-> He was eliminated at top 19. He went back to being a trainee and is expected to debut in Starship's new group.

Dongho f*ck. I got reminded of the ranking reveal after Playing With Fire, his name was not called up the top 11 and he told Jaehwan that he was worried. Just how much evil edit did they make that he was previously ranked #8 and started feeling worried? Joonyoung probably felt sorry since Dongho got way more hate than he anticipated since they edited him nicely during the ranking revelation episode. But what's the point? He already received the hate ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ to be honest, in the last episode, Dongho's parents sent a video but they never showed them and it wasn't even mentioned once. Joongyoung, stop making Produce series. Produce X_rigged votes

Kim Wooseok is pitiful too, but it's a relief that he at least got to debut. These 4 people seriously got eliminated because of the devil's editing...

Meanwhile, Kang Dongho was hurt so he couldn't practice but they made it seem like he was some kind of lazy kidㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Do you really think that he would make it so obvious himself that he's lazy?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ And for his "voice crack" in the first episode, I thought that my ears had issues... Seriously, the devil's editing was way too obvious.... Choi Minki was also evilly edited in A Little Girl.....

Heo Chanmi was the most pitiful out of these 4. Kang Dongho and Jang Gyuri went back to their group and gained more popularity and are doing well. Ham Wonjin is still young and it's almost guaranteed that he debuts with the new Starship group so he's fine but.... What is Heo Chanmi doing nowadays?

Chanmi got the worst evil editing out of the first 3 seasons (I've never watched Produce x 101 so I don't know). Dongho and Gyuri ended up fine and everyone forgot about it now, but Chanmi got her career ruined for good because of that. And I don't feel sorry at all for her, she's a bully and racist

You can find and follow Chanmi on her personal Instagram account. Last month she hanged out with Kyungree, they seems close friend. But I don't think she'll debut in a new groups now, maybe a solo.
Mnet did her really dirty out of all seasons. I remember that video when she appeared for the first time in front of all contestants (most of them). She was all in black, badass look. Maybe Mnet decided she was perfect to be the "bad" of the season.

Maybe stop spreading false rumours before you tarnish someone's image publically and accuse of false stuff. Chanmi has NEVER bullied anyone, she was accused of bullying Tiffany but this rumour was created by international stans and it has never happened, the Korean media has never reported it and the only thing Chanmi said about Tiffany is that she's thankful to her for taking care of her during her SM trainee days.
Then she was accused of bullying 5dolls' Soomi out of the group but Soomi (who now goes by Lee Seo An) is still friends with Chanmi. Go to Chanmi's IG account and you can find Soomi's supportive comments in nearly all Chanmi's IG posts. Stop lying.
And the racist argument is tired. The only thing she did was liking ALL of the comments under her post and one of them happened to be indeed racist, but she deleted the whole post within 24 hours. She has never made racist remarks nor said anything racially insensitive. It was just that one, unfortunate 'tap' on her phone.
OT: I'm happy Knetz are nice to Chanmi and like her. International stans should learn something from them and stop being cruel to another human being on a daily basis. Anyways, what MNET did to Chanmi was awful and I will forever hate them for it but Chanmi is winning nowadays, after she recently successfuly graduated school and is living her best life doing what she loves.

Yes her group debuted early 2018 then she went to P48 in order to improve herself and gain confidence, what she did indeed.
I think so, thanks to P48 she became the face of her group.

For season 2, I think Daehwi got really evil editing, despite actually ending up in the ending group.
In Season 3, Yunjin got bad editing for wanting to sing a part that fit her better.

I really liked Yunjin, but tbh I don't think that was a bad editing since there was no manipulation in the scene nor it was repeated or mentioned again after it happened, (I actually believe MNET wanted Yunjin in the final line-up, but the backlash she received was just too much).

What is it with some international fans's revisionist agenda on Dongho not being evil edited? He was painted as the tough scary dude since episode 1 when in reality as seen in NU'EST pre-Broduce he's a smiley happy boy. He even had his own jungle ost in the show. You can see during the position evaluation many of the other trainees were hoping he was not in the same group with him. Even til now there are viewers of Broduce who dislike him because of his episode with PWF team. The only reasons he was still high in rank is because many of his fans are working adults or university students who know that having strong opinions does not equate to being a mean person. His evil editing for example with the papers he's holding zoomed in many times from different angle are included to the lists of reasons Broduce viewers start demanding for the show's PD to stop with the evil editing.
FYI I agree he's not the biggest victim from the evil editing but just because you think your fave are impacted more from the evil editing doesn't mean that Baekho was not evil edited.
