To celebrate this joyous occasion, here is a TOP 8 list of idols and their geek hobbies for you to enjoy! Because we all love geeking out (don't lie, we know you do too), let's take a look at what exactly some people do with their free time.
Spoiler Alert: it's all cute and fluff ahead
#1: NU'EST JR / ANIME AND MANGA
To start off this list, let's talk about one of the biggest otaku in the idol world, the one and only Kim Jonghyun or JR from Nu'est!
According to his members, this boy is obsessed with anime and manga - it seems that catching him outside on his days off is like spotting Big Foot,
as he spends his days home, binge reading/watching anything he can get his hands on!

#2: EXID HANI / VIOLENT AND GORY MANGA
Hani maybe looks like a elegant idol on stage, but backstage? She loves violent and gory manga
We are talking about blood and stabbings (bonus points for beheading!) and everything else you can imagine. Don't let her pretty face fool you,
she is definitely no faint of heart!

#3: AB6IX WOOJIN / FIGURINES
Watching AB6IX's first episode of their reality show actually means watching Woojin talk for 6 minutes about all his Marvel figurines and his love for them -
and following him on a journey to a figurine shop, where he drains his poor bank account to buy... a $750 Iron Man helmet.
Bottom line, Woojin probably loves his figurines more than... alright we won't elaborate on it but just saying, maybe?

#4: IZ*ONE SAKURA / GAMING
Something many of you out there might (or might not) know is how big of a gamer Sakura is! This girl even has her own gaming channel, where she streams a variety of games - and yes we will link it because we know you are curious too! HERE you go! As she is very busy with promotions, not many videos have been added yet but keep an eye out as she still streams every so often! In the meantime we will leave you with her last gameplay (no subs unfortunately, but we can't have it all now can we?)
#5: SUPER JUNIOR HEECHUL / FROZEN
Heechul may be known for several things: his savageness, his beautiful looks or even his love for gaming but nothing will compare to his passion for one animated film: Frozen. He owns A LOT of merchandise and his love is so big that he even dressed up as Anna multiple times on television (and made his members have a whole Elsa Cosplay performance for their entire Super Show 6 tour - this is not a joke, youtube it)!
#6: BLACKPINK JENNIE / LEGO
When she isn't busy performing or showing off her impeccable fashion sense to the world, Jennie Kim spends some of her free time... playing with Lego! In March 2018, she admitted on Japanese television that she wanted to visit Tokyo's Lego shop - Jisoo then revealed her fellow group member had spent the entire flight whispering "Let's go buy Lego!" to her ears. Watch her cute reaction when a Blink gifted her a "Solo" Lego at a fanmeeting, it is a sight to behold!

#7: F.T. ISLAND HONGKI / NAIL ART
Hongki's passion surprised everyone at first but... who said a rocker couldn't be a genius at painting nails? The leader of F.T. Island discovered the world of nail art in 2011, after his friends told him that he would look good with a manicure. He quickly gained confidence and later revealed he regularly spends a good part of his salary on nail art products. Hongki went as far as publishing a book about his hobby, which includes tutorials and designs!

#8: JEONG SEWOON / SUDOKU
If you are a Sewoon fan, you are definitely aware of his passion for Sudoku! At home, in the car or backstage, the former Produce 101 contestant can't help himself and grabs a pencil to solve game after game. He even used sudoku grids to tease his second mini-album "Another"... his love for the game is a common conversation topic among his friends in the industry, and they can't stop teasing him for it!
