obvious lipsynch is obvious for lovelyz but I approve the song choice so much and they suited it

They hands down had the most unique and well done performance from these 3. IDLE... I have a whole rant I'll write later. Lovelyz were great, but lipsync and some moments were kinda off for them. Kei needs to stop smiling this is a grunge song. She needs to yell once in a while... Seo Inyoung needs to judge Queendom lmaoo

I'm going to talk about OMG because I've been rewatching that performance over and over again and have yet to get to the other performances this week lol.

They were absolutely amazing! I love sageuk/traditional sounds and love that they incorporated it. Destiny may be one of my least favorite Lovelyz title tracks and the fact they OMG and Lovelyz are so often compared made me a little nervous about this week but wow, OMG really did show up. This performance was everything and more. They managed to show just how good of dancers and singers they are in that one performance. They managed to make Destiny their song while adding a different flair to it and I LOVED IT. Everything about it was perfect and I'm so glad they got votes this time around.

And my girls g-idle were amazing, finally shua got some lines too
But I was a little disappointed in lovelyz... I mean it was good for some members but the whole performance was weak. kei need to break out of her safe zone, this song needs a strong aura, just look at jisoo... ohhh she really was the best.

OMG was good, no doubt about that.

(G)I-DLE did really well with what they were given. I feel like 2NE1 comparisons are unavoidable but they all did really well and I loved Shuhua's last verse.

But with Lovelyz, although I love them and BEG and Sixth Sense, I didn't quite like the way Lovelyz sounded singing Sixth Sense. Their vocal color is just too light/pretty/soft for a song that needs a lot of sass/attitude/power. I think Sujeong and Mijoo did quite well, but Kei and Jiae in particular didn't blend in with the concept very well. It was a strong performance in terms of scale and choreo, but in actuality, I think the concept was what made it kind of weaker than others.

yep thats the problem with lovelyz, I really think they can do better, but they always choose (idk if its them or the company) the soft performance thinking thats their color. Cant blame them tho cuz all their songs was like that, but for them to change/break that wall they need to take risks. They need to know that its ok to perform "ugly pretty". Its not enough to change outfits/makeup and a breakdance with two members, the whole team needs to put their all in it.

considering what Baby Soul was like pre-debut (esp when you look at her featuring on Sunggyu's IS2 performance of Woman on the Beach with Dongwoo, and her predebut song Strangers shows that she has the powerhouse vocals but ever since she debuted in Lovelyz she's been holding off) this type of song is also more up her alley of what she can do (and don't forget about Jisoo as well, she was meant for this type of concept) but I agree with you on Kei and Jiae, despite Kei being my bias.
