I wasn't sure whether to label this as a rumor or sensitive content? So I'm posting this as sensitive content right now due to the abuse allegations. If you guys want me to change the tag just let me know.
The new boy group DXMON who recently debuted last year on January 17th is currently in a lot of hot water online.
There are two main controversies going on:
Sleeping With Fans
At a recent fansign a fansite confronted member Hee for sleeping with his fans and several staff members. The fansite in question apparently has proof of it.
At the fansign the fansite was asking Hee questions on how the group would be affected if a member left and he looked uncomfortable (he I guess knew why she was asking that).
There is apparently a second member of this group who is being accused of sleeping with fans and staff members as well though the second member has not been named yet.
Something I would like to shout out is that Hee was born in 2005 and just turned 19 this past September. There are two members older than him who are legal adults and two younger members who are also minors. There was a third minor in the group, Jo, but he left around September of last year after being on a long hiatus due to "health reasons".
Here are some of the tweets of people dropping evidence of it. I currently can't really find english translations of all of it due to DXMON is not that big of a group as of right now.
Abuse Allegations
Along with this news of members sleeping with staff, a fansite has also implied that one of the members got beaten with a baseball bat by a higher-up in the company.
We have no idea when or where this happened or to who. Fans are currently worried about their former maknae Jo in regards to this rumor because he was put on an hiatus for several months without much explanation and then left without much explanation. He was 15 at debut and turned 16 in February of last year.
I will try to update this once more news comes out (if more news does come out).
Korean Netizens are currently asking for the two members who have been sleeping with fans and staff to leave the group, or for the whole group to just disband.
Western Kpop fans are a bit divided by this. Some western kpop fans are saying this is all just a hate train created to destroy the group, while other kpop fans are deeply concerned by the allegations due to how young the members are and the fact that the staff sleeping with them would be abuse of power (also low-key assault? due to some of them being minors???).
While western fans seem to consider this fake rumors, Korean netizens seem to be taking this as the truth which I find interesting?
As of right now the company has not released a statement.
I will try to keep y'all updated on this.

I knew that I have heard about Dxmon before, the baseball bat incident!!!!kpop fans are deeply concerned by the allegations due to how young the members are and the fact that the staff sleeping with them would be abuse of power (also low-key assault? due to some of them being minors???).
Now about the current topic, if they were really underage, they need to investigate that staff. (And the fans if they were adults too)
Anyways, they will get kick out.

a baseball bat??
Your Biggest Fan
OPPA!!!!Disband the group, shut down the company, and let the innocent members find success elsewhere.
I know this is the old Kpop shuffle, but if this has been going on for a while and the company is involved, there's no hope for the group to proceed under these conditions.

Sensitive content > rumor, you made the right choice
It's hard reading things like this. Because even if this is not true, it is true somewhere in the industry

It's all rumor and allegations of course, but the baseball bat thing happened under the old ceo (Kim Kyusang) and right after it supposedly happened the company rebranded, changed their name (originally was NV Ent, changed to SSQ Ent in Jan 2024, then changed again to H Music in June 2024), and removed their previous CEO and gained two new ones (Kim Kanghyo and Jang Hyungsik). Their gg Wooah also rebranded in April (changing their name from woo!ah! to WOOAH).
Imo this was to make the company hard to search by previous names and also to erase the company's connection to Kim Kyusang. There were a lot of positive articles about Kim Kyusang and he made some media appearances.
All the rebranding (at least the move from SSQ to H Music) reeks of trying to erase ties to the former CEO. Supposedly the member who was assaulted reported the incident and the CEO was charged. So the groups are under different leadership than what they were during that event (although with what happened to Omega X, who knows if the prior CEO is still involved in some capacity).
I hope Wooah are alright because they were under that CEO for several years. There's at least one unsubstantiated rumor that may be about them that has always made my skin crawl. As for Dxmon I hope they did get the CEO charged and I'm glad the kid had someone in his life who knew to get him out of that situation, or he knew that his safety was more important than being an idol.
The sleeping around rumors are pretty much a death knell for groups at their size but maybe getting out of that group and company will actually be the best thing for everyone.
