Last year, SM announced that it would launch a boy group in the UK with the British entertainment company M&B.

M&B is led by Nigel Hall, the producer of British competition shows such as “The X Factor” and “Britain’s Got Talent.” SM and M&B plan to make a six-episode TV series about the creation of the upcoming K-pop group consisting of British members.

SM also recruited 84 local music composers this year through its music publishing affiliate, Kreation Music Rights, to further expand its reach overseas.

“This year, we are going to establish the American branch of Kreation Music Rights to recruit American composers. We plan to hold at least two large-scale song camps to maximize production capability,” said the label.

Didn't they wanted to debut an American one too?
There was supposed to be NCT Hollywood, but due to the expansion ending it’s pretty much scrapped.

If this is real, I am going to be very disappointed if Ten and Yangyang don’t appear as judges/mentors because they both use to live there 😐

(Ten’s lived there before, he said his family visited often and during the summers he lived there for school to learn English. I think during a tour stop he even said it was like his second home? And to my knowledge YangYang’s whole family lives in England now and I think he lived there at some point too?)

Hybe and SM are both in a "who wants to ruin kpop more" race
Well, as long as they dont call it kpop, it's fine

As for kpop, enough with the western licking ass and give us more collabs between asian artists/groups
i wanna see more jpop and kpop collabs

If they do songs like this, I will listen to it but I won't consider it Kpop if they sing in english.

If their songs aren't in Korean then how can I consider them as Kpop?🤷‍♀️
The 'K' in Kpop doesn't stand for 'Ketchup' or 'Kensington' but for KOREAN.😪

But I think we all know the West's attitude to music that isn't in Spanish:rolleyes:😪
I don't mind Kpop artists/groups promoting in the West for international fans but I really think Kpop would be better served doing more collabs with other Asian artists🤔 A few Western collabs are fine but oodles & oodles with a side order of English versions & English songs...😪 Sorry but no thanks.😪
