BREAKING NEWS [Soompi] Seungri Arrives At Police Station For Questioning On Gambling Suspicions

On August 28 at approximately 10 a.m. KST, Seungri arrived at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Sophisticated Crime Investigation Division for questioning.

He is being questioned on suspicions of habitual gambling and violating the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act.

Upon arrival, Seungri said to reporters, “I will diligently cooperate with the police investigation,” and added, “I apologize,” as he bowed his head.

Well, they've managed to drag this case long enough for other events (SK-JP conflict) to overshadow it. 8 months after the Burning Sun case hit the media, the police are still only interviewing this guy. I guess we'll see where this all leads. I've learned to lower my expectations when it comes to SK police and their justice system.

He was supposed to enlist on March 25th earlier this year, but because of the investigations, Seungri requested to postpone his enlistment...for 3 months. Those 3 months are already up, and I don't remember any official statement on whether that postponement was extended.

Well, the staffs of dramas know pretty well what's going on behind the scenes on those chaebols so they channel them into dramas lowkey informing everyone that those events are always happen often in their lives
