I saw this on TT and I thought this was so strange because I know Taemin’s criminal has blindfolds but I went to look back on it and for music bank Taemin and his dancers wore eyepatches instead???
Sort of like how there’s the 1 nipple rule (Male Kpop idols cannot be shirtless, at least 1 nipple needs to be covered at all times) is there a 1 eyeball rule too now???

Yes! It’s been a very strict thing for years.
Men can’t be 100% shirtless, one nipple needs to be covered at all times. I also don’t mean like half of your chest needs to be covered at all times cause you can be completely shirtless, slap a sticker over one of your nipples to call it a day, and be in compliance. Western Kpop fans laugh about it all the time because how is two nipples inappropriate but one singular nipple ok?
The most common way people do compliance to this rule is by wrapping the idol in bandages like a sash? For example, Bangchan during Thunderous promotions:
The Boyz’s last promotions with Trigger had some controversies from fans cause their bandages weren’t secured very well at all and kept slipping on stage exposing them.
I remember Kevin seemed frazzled during fan calls because he wore the same outfit during them and the bandages pretty much completely slipped off so he kept exposing fans during the calls. Fans weren’t complaining though
And Mr. Sex’s in the air Taemin got praised for his loophole around it during Advice cause he painted over himself with body paint.
