The Boyz Sunwoo is currently the MC of idol radio.
On today’s broadcast he was talking about how their company, IST/Cre.ker, charges them a late fee for every time they are late to practice.
The fee is 500,000 won which is a little under $400 USD.
(As a deobi, I highly doubt the members are even paid that decently by the company so I feel like this is kind of a lot?
)
The OP translated it as “each minute they are late” but has since corrected that they are charged once in general every time they are late.
I know this isn’t the most dramatic news, but I feel like $400 is a lot to charge (or I guess in this case remove from someone’s paycheck) just for running late to practice??? Or maybe that’s just me.
What are your thoughts?

well the fee is definitely ridiculous but something else is weird... established groups have fixed practice schedules? I understand that trainees do and idk maybe at the very beginning of their career but I always thought veteran groups just practiced whenever they could/needed for perfs, concerts or comebacks... I thought it was more on the group itself than enforced by the company at this point

They’ve had a LOT of back to back concerts these past couple months and now just had a comeback so maybe they’ve just had to practice a lot in general?
Thinking back on it though, based on their bubble messages I don’t think they seem to have a lot of free time? In their bubble messages if they want to go out to do something it’s always late at night. I remember Kevin and another member went to go to some exhibit awhile ago but they just barely made it there before closing and ended up not being there long. Also, Kevin works out every day but if he wants to go out it’s either at the crack of dawn or very late at night as well.
So like, based on their bubble messages about their daily schedules I feel like it adds up that they still have set practice schedules for some reasons? It would explain why they never seem to see the light of day.
