SENSITIVE CONTENT The Boyz Sunwoo Attacked By Saesang

The Boyz's Sunwoo and an IST staff member was sent to the hospital after being attacked by a saesang.

The event happened on the 9th of this month. Sunwoo was coming home to their dorms and trying to walk in the door after a schedule when he was approached by a saesang who was hiding in the emergency stairwell of their dorms.

Sunwoo felt threatened and went to get a staff member who was able to stop the saesang until the police arrived. Even though the staff member was able to detain the saesang until police got there, during the process Sunwoo (and the staff member) was beaten and assaulted multiple times. Both the staff member and Sunwoo had to be sent to the hospital for examination.

A police investigation is currently ongoing and the saesang is currently being charged with house invasion and assault.
(It does appear that on top of this assault, the saesang also broke into their dorm.)

It was also revealed that there was a location tracker found on one of the company cars that TBZ uses, and on a separate incident the car's tires got slashed by someone.

CCTV of both incidents was retrieved and handed over to the police.

There has been a lot of illegal activities happening to TBZ which has been affecting them, their friends and family, and other people around them such as staff. The list includes:

- Unauthorized visits to places related to artists' privacy and private schedules
- Spreading malicious rumors
- Taking photos and videos by unreasonably getting in the way of the members' movements, when entering and leaving the airport, including inside the flight
- Following their vehicles
- Attempting to contact the members by illegally acquiring personal information

IST is currently taking legal action against all of these illegal things, including privacy infringement, and has a zero tolerance policy for this sort of thing.

IST has stated:​

"As the act of violating the artist's rights and interests is going too far, we inform you that evidence collection and data review are ongoing from time to time through legal representatives. Also once again, there will be no leniency or agreement in the process."​

Fans are really upset over this incident, especially since Sunwoo was given to recovery period after this incident.

The incident happened on the 9th, and The Boyz still had music show promotions, fansigns/fancalls, and Sunwoo is currently the host of Idol Radio. Fans are concerned/angered that Sunwoo had to keep going like nothing happened all during this time.

(There also seems to be a Korean twitter account actively making threats towards Sunwoo. The threats started when dating rumors began between Sunwoo and Yeji of Itzy some time ago.)​
