Tbh, I don't buy some of the arguments that they don't sing in korean and don't have any korean members, like what naysayers are saying. I think it comes down to this: Most of them are from Southeast Asia and frankly, that makes them not appealing. Because SEA is poor I guess. For some Kpop stans from the west that cries out for more diversity in KPOP should have supported the Z-POP groups, but instead they do not.
i can only speak for myself but personally their music just isn’t my style for now but i do support them and hope they can build a solid fanbase for both groups

I liked Z Girls only.
They are good singers and super pretty for their respectives country beauty standards.
Carlyn has an amazing voice.
Priyanka is pretty in the indian perspective.

I only listen to Twice-pop, so I can't really relate, but from what I observe, most Kpop fans are also immersed in K-culture through K-variety and K-drama. Although most don't speak Korean, they are already familiar with a lot of Korean cultural references that makes Korean groups more relatable, I suppose. If it's just the issue of SEA idols not being appealing and them not speaking/singing Korean, then a lot more kpop fans would also be following / stanning Jpop groups (not SEA, and also not singing / speaking Korean), but they're not.
Fans should follow whatever group they like. The notion of stanning a musical group out of a sense of social obligation doesn't make sense to me. And I say that despite being from SEA.

Excuse My CharismaPersonally I didn't care much for either groups debut song, overall I preferred Z-girls to Z-boys.
If they come out with better songs I'd like them more because they have talent for sure and I do like the whole idea/concept behind the groups.

i dont like the letter Z
hotsushi-kun
NuguI am not even bothered up on why Z-Boys and Z-Girls are not popular, but one thing is that they are all not so Korean, they are all Asian.

NuguThey don't stand out enough imo. Their diversity should've been more of a selling point, make the group a celebration of the members nationalities.
Koreans are Asians too.I am not even bothered up on why Z-Boys and Z-Girls are not popular, but one thing is that they are all not so Korean, they are all Asian.

I think I would prefer it if they sung in Korean if they were going to promote themselves as "k-pop." I don't really care about their nationalities.
