I mean all these members are their favourite, which is why people think they're the "popular" or "best" members of each team. I can't say about all of them but for example Kai and Taeyong has been unfairly privileged since debut and taking up a substantial amount of resources. In EXO's case some members have proved to be even more popular with less resources and by logic, more profitable. But the only one acknowledged by SM is Baekhyun while others continue rotting around and see their hard-earned popularity fade as the company has now effectively ditched EXO (even while in EXO, they are considered secondary members to Kai so really, where is the fairness?). I have nothing against Kai personally but really with the amount of push he received from SM and he only seemingly make it this far....seriously how long more will SM continue favouring him and ignoring the other members which are eager to work, have good amount of popularity and will be able to generate decent income for the company? Taeyong is basically a repeat of the Kai scenario.

p.s Will not bother replying to any illogical Kai/ Taeyong fans who are blind and actively deny the favouritism.

It is not just about the solo which both Chen and Baekhyun rightfully earned it. We're talking about exposure...things like being in center position, being send to this and that, MV screentime etc.

Kai is one of the EXO members with fewer activities. He has no solo singer career, he's not in any EXO subunit, he doesn't even have station songs, even his acting career is weak. The only thing he really had is a modeling career

About been in center position, it's because he's the main dancer, so of course he will be more in center. Main vocals sing more lines (Kai is the second member with fewer lines ahead only Sehun), while dancers generally stay in the middle specially in chorus/break

I have no idea about what do you mean about been so pushed, the only substantial thing he has more than other members is dating scandals

1) Kai is not the member with second least lines. The moment he shown that he was slightly capable of holding a note, he got lines everywhere. In comparison, Chanyeol has been capable of holding a note since debut but he never got the amount of singing lines Kai has. Kai even got the "You can call me monster" high note in Monster, heavily edited of course. He is nowhere near capable of that and there was only 3 such lines in the song but instead of logically splitting to BCD, Baek did not get that (though Baek had many other lines in Monster so all is fine). I don't know what other examples you need but I can assure you he isn't the member with second least lines.

2) I don't think Kai is in the center position just because "he is the main dancer". He constantly gets alot more screentime in MVs, regardless of the concepts. Why does he have an extra 5-10sec of useless shots to close the Overdose MV? Why is he all over the Love Me Right MV everywhere, even during segments when it's not his songs? Stylists also always put more thought into his styling, be it clothing or hairstyle. SM even accidentally had a cut of him with a mushroom hair in Growl MV version 2. Or why is he the only one wearing checkered pants in Call Me Baby group shot? In most group shots he is always strategically placed, sometimes a step or two in front of other members (really wtf). Even when it comes to ending position, why is he only one ending The Eve with a slightly different pose when he is on the left but Kyungsoo is the one in the center? You can say I'm really calculative but what I'm trying to say is that SM has always paid special to him when it comes to EXO activities. He is always differentiated from his members and this is not justified. Just because he is no longer hogging 80% of the teasers or wearing a bright outfit while his other members wear black jackets does not mean the biasness is completely erased.

3) Re the solo album/ sub-unit/ station issue, I think we can all agree he is not very musically inclined. I get that he has alot of passion for dancing and I really do enjoy seeing him on stage. However, he is one of the members with the highest calling for solo. Why?! I think because he's been unfairly privileged in his group activities that people presume SM is just going to give him one. I don't get why he isn't in any sub-unit but I think nobody actually expects him to be in a sub-unit, either due to their solo expectation or they can't think of any suitable combination. Also, not having a SM station isn't surprising. It's a music project afterall and he's not strong vocally.

He was the 3rd with fewer lines in Exact album (ahead of Lay and Sehun), 2nd in The War (ahead of Sehun) and 3rd on DMUMT (ahead of Xiumin and Sehun). So yes, he's one of fewer lines. It's not bad, cause he's a dancer. I don't know why you're been so petty about WHICH LINES each member have, it something only delusional and annoying solo stans fight for

Regardless, you're fighting for useless things like outfits, hair style, who end in the center of the songs, things literally no one cares about besides fans, not even fans more like solo fans. I've never noticed he ended The Eve choreo slightly different from other members, because it doesn't matter, don't contribute in anything for his image or career

Things that are really important for him AKA a solo career, he doesn't have one. I understand he can't sing or rap, so it's gonna be hard give him a solo debut before EXO vocalists, but doesn't it imply he's not been "pushed"? I don't know why do you think wear checkered pants in Call Me Baby group shot is more important than have solo activities. If SM really wanted to push him they would be on TV shows, would have station songs (many SM dancers have station songs despite their lack in singing ability compared to their peers), would be in EXO CBX, would have a solo dance channel on Youtube, would act way more in dramas, etc. He have nothing but a modelling career, just like Sehun

He was choose to this unit only because besides he the only EXO members who can follow other Super M members in dancing are Sehun, Xiumin and Lay. Neither Xiumin or Lay are avaiable, so was Sehun or him and SM choose him. I would accept Sehun fans asking SM for more Sehun promotions, because this guy is one who is really neglect (same situation as Kai, but worse because Kai at least shine in EXO comebacks), but I don't think any Sehun fans would want him to stay on this messy american colaborative group though
