The First Slam Dunk is a remake of the first 50 chapters of the Manga so i guess those sales must be from new fans?

haven't watched the movie yet but seeing how it was a massive success we can expect more sequels in the future

ONE PIECE's sales been on decline but it's also worth keeping in mind, that while series shouldn't be judged by their sales, if you add the total sales of "Blue Lock", "Chainsaw Man", "Slam Dunk" and "Jujutsu Kaisen" then these 4 series together have sold 290+ million issues

ONE PIECE has sold over 516+ million issues on it's own in a country of "only" 120+ million people, eventually the manga was going to ran out of new readers because pretty much already knows the series, but the sales are still pretty good and to still be in the top 5 after being on serialization for 1/4 of a century is crazy
