Hello and welcome back to the October (2024) edition of our monthly User Interview! This month, we'll be learning the love language between our two soulmates: @RussianRoulette & @Sweetheart (AKA Bobo) With all that said, let's jump into our interview for October!

Q: Introduce Yourself.
Sweetheart: Hiii i'm Sweetheart but everyone knows me as bobo 1/4 of the quadz and part of the musketeers. Loved by some and hated by many.
RussianRoulette: Hello! I’m Russian Roulette, you probably know me from all the (gossip) news reports I post here. Nice to meet you all. I like gifs and the color pink.

Q: How did you learn about H+? Why did you join?

Sweetheart: An evil French twink I used to be friends with told me about the site when OH flopped for like a whole month and this one was created. I joined cause he invited me over.
RussianRoulette: I was active on OH and @Seunghee's Eyebrows invited me here when it was shutting down.

Q: What is your favorite thing about H+?

Sweetheart: Might be cliché but I like the people, I left the site for almost 3 years back in 2021, and being back this year I got to reconnect with so many good friends and meet new people like my soulmate here.

RussianRoulette: We’re a small tight-knit friendly little community. Also, everyone is pretty sane here. Kpop Twitter is feral, I like how everyone here is level-headed and we can all discuss things without fights breaking out.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen 2 users fistfight or curse each other out here on this site.

Q: If you could be another user for a day who’d you be and why?

Sweetheart: I'd be @Full Sun to get her personal info and contact her cause I miss her.

RussianRoulette: I’m happy being me, but I guess @heather. I’m impressed by their art skills and they are the master of all the +Pals. I think it’d be cool to have an army of +pals like them.

Q: How did you come up with your username?

Sweetheart: Current one is a character from the game Omori. Bobo was the nickname Turtle/Trashie gave me back in like 2019-2020
RussianRoulette: I just used the username I had on OH. On OH, I originally wanted a clc-related username but they were all taken. I then started going through Red Velvet usernames and this one was available. (I was either RussianRoulette or Peekaboo and Russian Roulette won, though now I wonder if Peekaboo would have been cuter?)

Q: Who’s your favorite PlusPal? And why?

Sweetheart: Magis is my baby and I would d-word for him.
RussianRoulette:

Whoever this one is [answer: Par] because they match my energy.

Q: Who was your first bias & do you still bias them (and/or their group)?
Sweetheart: Krystal from f(x)! Back when I saw her Golden Disk Awards performance of rum pum pum pum but I don't keep up with her anymore cause we lost her to acting.
How can you not say mother?

RussianRoulette: My first bias was Choa from AOA. I still like Choa but I don’t really follow her anymore, and AOA has [unofficially] disbanded. The members don't even contact each other anymore.

Q: When did you get into kpop/Asian entertainment?

Sweetheart: February 2014 with the Krystal video.
RussianRoulette: I was deeply into Vocaloid and Utaite music in High School. I knew a little bit about Kpop in high school from friends but didn’t listen to it much. In 2014 the teasers for RV’s happiness were trending on Twitter and I became interested, I liked how happy and colorful their music was. I then found AOA’s Like A Cat and got hooked.

Q: Who is your bias and bias group(s)?

Sweetheart: I'm not very actively into Kpop rn but I'm still here because of IU, LSF Sakura, and TWICE (a bit ZB1 Jiwoong too).

Q. Favorite kpop/jpop/cpop mv?

Sweetheart: I don't think I have one but I always loved film-like kpop MVs (BEG 'Kill Bill', IU 'You & I') or this one cause I cried when I first watched it.

Q. Favorite non-Asian artist?

Sweetheart: I've been consistently stanning Doja Cat for the longest now!
Doja is a great performer and I love the conceptual direction of her art, I had the privilege to see her live back in 2022 for a festival and I'd love to go to her own solo concert next time!

RussianRoulette: Sabrina Carpenter, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift.
I am not seeing Sabrina on tour and it makes me sad.

Q. Which section and/or thread do you spend the most time in (on H+)?

Sweetheart: Either the union or Events.
RussianRoulette: I think it’s safe to say I am the #1 soju provider on the soju thread.

Q. How does it feel to be soulmates? Do you feel like you match quite well?
Sweetheart: To be very honest we haven't talked much since and we don't even follow each other dshfgsd but I admire Russian Roulette's writing skills and I keep up with her kpop updates + she's friendly and both her games have been fun. We match well cause she likes cancer men and that's my zodiac sign!

RussianRoulette: TBH I don’t think I’ve even met sweetheart before that game, but surprisingly we have a lot in common (I’m a virgo with a cancer Venus, they're a cancer with a virgo Venus, we both joined Kpop in 2014, and we both like Amatsuki).

Q. First impression of each other vs. Current impression? (asked by Stannie)

Sweetheart:
1st: "who is this and when did they appear?"
current: "cool and active in the forum!"
RussianRoulette:
1st Impression: who are you?
Current impression: In that game thread Heather implied you were a good person and I trust their judgment, and we have a lot in common so you pass the vibe test.

Q. You're stranded on a deserted island. What 3 things would you bring with you to get out? (You each can bring 3 items) (asked by RussianRoulette)
Sweetheart: why complicate it, I'll have a fully working helicopter, fuel, and a helicopter driver
RussianRoulette: Since Sweetheart’s bringing the helicopter, I’ll bring:
- Snacks (very important)
- Music for the trip (So we can keep our sanity)
- A GPS so we don’t get lost (Google Maps works without wifi/mobile data but I’m assuming we’ll have mobile data in the air?)

Q. What fact about yourself took you the longest to understand or accept? (asked by Tommie)

Sweetheart:
that I wasn't made for a traditional career, yk my lore Tommie.

RussianRoulette: I have no idea what I’m doing in the slightest but no one does and that’s ok as long as you keep moving forward.

Q. If you could take (and mess around with) any H+ users account for the day who would you choose and why? (asked by Polaris_Tae)
Sweetheart: I'd be @yongfilms and I'll make his account the softest and most pure one of h+
RussianRoulette: No one tbh. I like all of y’all and have no need to mess around with anyone.

Q. What's the one thing you fail at in life?

Sweetheart: Well, I want to be in love and have a cute romance but i'm very picky (virgo venus) so dates have been failure after failure.
RussianRoulette: I have no sense of direction at all. I know no town names, street names, addresses, etc. If I ever get lost and need to tell someone where I am I’m screwed.

Q. What would we find if we were to look in your bag/pocket today? (asked by Heather)

Sweetheart:
- Cherry lip balm
- 2 Sunscreens (for the face and for the body)
- Keys
- Deadpool wallet (I don't like Marvel stuff shdgf) and a sphynx cat purse
- Tylenol, stomach pain meds and anxiety meds from a very old prescription
- alcohol to clean hands from using public transport
- Coconut hand cream
- Headphones
- A stray strip of gum
- Napkins
took a pic of it but i'm gatekeeping it now cause my bag and keychain look dirty

Russian Roulette:
- Stun gun and pepper spray
- At least 3 lip products and possibly a lip pencil
- Pretty much an entire medicine cabinet (Advil, Tylenol, 3 types of allergy medicines, stomach medicines, anxiety medicine, sanitary products, nose spray, glasses cleaner, tissues, bandaids, and more)
- Wallet and keys
- AirPods and mini car speaker
- Hair ties and claw clip
- A Sanrio plushie with a decorated photocard keychain (changes daily)

- Candy and a little treat for myself
