Film's BD/DVD release launches in Japan on same day
Netflix announced on Thursday that it will stream Kyoto Animation's Violet Evergarden: The Movie anime in the United States on October 13. Netflix had previously listed the film for release in other countries on the same date.
Kyoto Animation delayed the film's release on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in Japan from August 4 to October 13, due to issues with production and manufacturing because of the state of emergency declared in Japan (including in Kyoto prefecture).
