LurkerSo this happened this morning. I don't normally just wake up in the middle of sleeping. Something else has to wake me up, like a dream, needing to pee, maybe having fell asleep listening to something and then it switched to something louder, or of course just some other person. But this morning, I woke up earlier than usual. I woke up feeling something between my neck and shoulder. It was moving....crawling even.
So I jumped out of bed freaked out and I swear to god I saw one of those house centipedes. It was at my neck and when I jumped, it quickly scurried under the folds of my bed sheets. My eyes were locked on my bed sheets, and after calming down a bit, I grabbed a slipper and started pressing heavily down on the sheets in an attempt to crush it. My eyes were on the sheets the whole time and the sheets were all ruffled and folded, so I doubt it could have escaped. There's no way it could have expertly maneuvered through the labyrinth of sheet folds and escaped, right? Well, I carefully lifted the sheets, prepared for it to make a run for it once I did...but nothing was there. Nothing. Not even a missing leg. I looked all around my bed and couldn't find anything either.
Even though it was like an hour before I needed to wake up, I was too on edge and paranoid to go back to sleep. I still don't know what happened. Now there is a chance I just imagined it. Maybe what I felt at my neck was just my earphones that I fell asleep with. But when I jumped, my earphones didn't go anywhere near my bed sheets, they stayed on my pillow. It's either that, or the centipede was way more slippery than I thought and somehow managed to escape my eyes. But that just means it's still somewhere in my house, or even still in my room...

lol it's not scary at all, it's just disgust feeling you have
it's okay tho, they will not harm you if you don't disturb them
