Recently, tabloid magazines reported that Watanabe is dating and living together with Hanamura Sota of dance and vocal group Da-iCE.
Watanabe tweeted, "I apologize for the worry and inconvenience caused due to reports about my private life. I have received a lot of guidance and encouragement regarding that matter. Thank you very much."
Finally, she stated, "I am still immature, but I will continue to work with devotion so please continue to watch over me warmly."

Imagine having to apologise for dating someone and living a normal life outside of your celebrity life. The idol industries in Japan and S.Korea are so toxic and need to fix up. How many more need to suffer from depression or worse, take their own lives, before people learn to let these idols live their own lives?
