DJ KOO became famous in Japan in the 90s as a DJ and hype man, but now he has a teenage daughter who happens to be a huge fan of Hello!Project, particularly Morning Musume '20's Kaga Kaede. Watch him lay out all the goods they have gotten together as she tries to explain to him what they are. Of course, he is a dad, so he can't remember the names of everything, but he still supports his daughter and likes enjoying her hobby with her.

The cutest.

He's really spoiling her, that can't be cheap :ohmygod:

It took me a while to realize DJ Koo wasn't wearing his own merch but rather an eva shirt

He did stop at around 2:00 to ask her how much these things were :teehee:
Now, the vast majority of this is photos, which run around ¥500 apiece, which isn't that bad, but there is a lot of them.

I'm not sure you understand wota culture if you think idol goods are comparable to McDonald's when 48G wota were out here living in cardboard boxes from all the CDs they bought. Mostly because they could no longer see the walls from all the cardboard boxes full of CDs they ordered. Hopefully their wallets can now rest in peace.
:jinjudge:

Regardless, having purchased some of these photos myself from H!P, I can vouch that they're high quality enough that you would be spending just as much if not more to print them in that kind of quality yourself. But to each their own.

I wouldn't take that as a sign of the quality of the wares though, just their unhealthy obsession (and/or oversized wallets :fab:)

I will take your word for it though!

PS: idk why but this emoji reminds me of Hyadain
