It seems to me that SNSD's Baby Baby concept is overshadowed by much of their more iconic comebacks (Genie, The Boys, etc.), but I love the simplicity they had here back then:

I always felt like the adorable pastels of Fly era flew out of people minds the second it ended

LurkerHmm, I'm not sure about the concept of "Baby Baby" being underrated. I feel it's relative. For instance, their Korean fans might rate it highly or possibly even see it as being one of their — if not their most — recognisable concepts. I make this judgment based on what they wore for some of their stages during the "Long Lasting Love" fanmeeting in 2022.
I also hold the opinion that just because something is overshadowing another, doesn't necessarily make the other thing underrated. But I think I understand what you mean anyway — I take no offense.
To return to your question: I felt "Soul" was underrated seeing it was really only intended to be released for their Chinese fans. I am aware of the Korean version they released for it, though.
A part of me feels that I would have liked to see it explored further, perhaps in a full group comeback of theirs in the future.
Here's to me hoping and thanks for this thread.

I don't really know if it's underrated but Favorite was the best concept 127 had! It fit the members so well and I loved how it's more vocal-focused

I don't want to call the concept underrated, per se.. But, it was the most recent return to old concept and i dont think it's appreciated as much as it should be.

Nature - Girls was so great, why did they comeback with that Rica Rica...
Dreamnote - Ghost, an outlier among their discography
Rocket Punch - Chiquita, a mix of 80's disco and euro dance
