I thought of the following, but none of them are really trilogies since the studios got greedy and tacked on inferior sequels:

• Indiana Jones series (Raiders of the Lost Ark, ...)
• Matrix and its sequels
• Toy Story and its sequels

Toy Story 1,2,3 were great but I haven't seen 4 but I hear it was mediocre

Will also mention two others I think are fantastic but probably have less universal appeal.
Park Chan Wook's Vengeance trilogy of Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy and Lady Vengeance. Unrelenting violence and disturbing behavior.
Sergio Leone's The Man With No Name trilogy of A Fistful of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More and The Good The Bad and The Ugly. Changed the western brand internationally.​

fear street is pretty good as far as horror/slasher trilogy goes

3 movies are actually quite a lot...a lot of them seem to fumble atleast on the 2nd and more likely the 3rd movie...like shrek or xmen
